The CPV-HDIRVFLPR-1080SN is a Sony HD 1080p varifocal license plate recognition (LPR) camera with heater & blower/fan that can capture license plates up to 98 feet away moving at a speed up to 55mph. The 6mm- 60mm vari-focal lens are adjusted with the twist-rings inside the camera and that allows the owner to adjust the field of view at a much more zoomed angle. This CPV-HDIRVFLPR-1080SN has built-in infrared capability that allows it to be see in well-lit areas and down dark roads. For example, in the picture above "LPR Camera" at night time the camera monitors the enviorment of the area and turns on the LEDs as the car goes by. Thus, providing a sharper and clearer picture of the license plate than your traditional CCTV camera.
